Coming to Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan opened its doors to many tourists with a visa-free regime for over 60 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States and many European countries. This and the cheap cost of flights make it very easy to organize a worry-free vacation to the country. If you book your flights early enough, you can find a round trip for around 300 euros (330 USD). Still hesitating? From most European and American cities, three airline companies fly to Bishkek: Aeroflot, with a stop in Moscow, or Pegasus and Turkish Airlines with a stop in Istanbul. You can also check flight options to Almaty, Kazakhstan, for cheaper tickets. You will then be able to get to Bishkek by air or by bus. If you’re more of an adventurer and want to take your time, you can make the trip by train.

Did you know?

We all heard about the legendary Transsiberian which joins Russia and China through Mongolia. But did you know that you could also travel the Silk Road by train? From Moscow, you can ride a train to Kyrgyzstan through Kazakhstan, and finish your adventure in Uzbekistan. The Kyrgyzia, train #18, is a great opportunity to see the splendid variety of landscapes in ancient Russia and its charming traditional houses called “isbas”, and the endless steps and mountain ranges. The trip takes three days and makes for an unforgettable adventure, gently rocked by the train’s rhythm and the life that awakens inside. This is a great way to reach the country side-by-side with locals. Are you ready for an adventure?
