Gregory Gorge, or Grigorievka, is a stunning destination offering fabulous scenery punctuated by flowering hillsides, mountain lakes, a river with crystalline waters and the gentle scent of pine forests. Discovering Grigorievka

Grigorievka Gorge is brimming with magnificent places to explore. Set off on a hiking adventure and take in the natural beauty that unfolds before you.

Your trek will lead you past several lakes. You'll also walk alongside the charming river, its crystalline waters flowing between plains and hillsides scattered with poppies. The central part of the valley is crowned by two snow-capped peaks: Kum-Bel Peak (4,200 m) and Eshenbulak Peak (4,647 m).

Horseriders can easily discover the beauty of Grigorievka Gorge on horseback. Trails have been developed and are perfectly suited for equestrian travel.

After a rewarding day of hiking, you can savor traditional Kyrgyz cuisine in one of the yurts. It's also a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of the nomadic Kyrgyz people and exchange with a local family.

To reach Grigorievka Gorge, take a bus or shared taxi from Bishkek to Issyk-Kul.

From Lake Issyk-Kul, you can follow the trails on foot or horseback to Grigorievka Valley.
