The village of Arslanbob is a typical mountain village in Kyrgyzstan, located in the province of Jalal-Abad. Discovering the Village of Arslanbob

Nestled within the snow-capped cliffs of the Babach-Ata mountain massif, Arslanbob offers visitors countless activities. It holds deep significance as a pilgrimage site for Uzbeks, thanks to the presence of the tomb of Arslanbob, a venerated historical figure in Uzbek Islam.

A legendary site, the walnut forest near the village makes for a delightful walk. Spanning 11,000 hectares, these walnut trees can reach heights of nearly 100 feet. Further along lies the grand sacred waterfall, a major Uzbek pilgrimage destination. Standing at 80 meters high, the hike to reach it is a 4-hour loop featuring a steep and challenging section—prepare yourself! However, once you arrive at the top, the panoramic views will make every effort worthwhile. The village offers adequate accommodations and organizes shorter treks through the surrounding area for those wishing to explore the region further. Collective taxis depart from Bishkek to Arslanbob, leaving the station once they're full. The journey typically takes between 8 to 9 hours.
