Choisir un voyage axé sur la culture et les traditions au Kirghizistan, c'est accepter que l'itinéraire se règle sur le rythme des familles nomades, pas l'inverse. On dort sous la yourte, on partage le kymyz (lait de jument fermenté) servi par l'aîné, et on apprend que chaque motif tissé dans un shyrdak raconte une lignée.

Le pays vit encore largement au rythme du nomadisme pastoral. Chaque été, les bergers montent aux jailoos, ces pâturages d'altitude du Tian Shan situés entre 2 500 et 3 000 mètres. Nos équipes sur place organisent les rencontres directement avec les familles de la région de Naryn et des vallées de Suusamyr, là où la transhumance reste un quotidien, pas une démonstration.

Sur les rives du lac Issyk-Koul, l'héritage de la route de la Soie se lit dans la cuisine, les visages et l'artisanat. Du côté de Bokonbaevo, vous croiserez les derniers chasseurs à l'aigle berkutchi, dont l'art se transmet de père en fils depuis le XIIᵉ siècle.
