Health and Vaccinations for Kyrgyzstan
Vaccinations
Kyrgyzstan is not a high-risk destination, so no vaccinations are mandatory for your stay. You can choose not to get any additional shots if you prefer.
Here is the list of vaccinations recommended by the Pasteur Institute:
- Viral hepatitis A
- Viral hepatitis B
- Typhoid
- Rabies (if you venture alone into remote areas)
- Tick-borne encephalitis (for stays in May and June, in rural and forested zones)
We strongly recommend, however, that you ensure your tetanus vaccination is up to date.
